Fun with phonics in Ms. Farrell’s class.

The children are really enjoying the fresh air whilst learning the ‘ow’ spelling for the /oa/ sound and the ‘y’ spelling for the /ie/ sound. We each took a piece of chalk and practiced writing words on the ground outside.

Check out how creative learning cursive handwriting can be! The children practiced joining their letters through using multiple mediums such as paint, sand and whiteboard. We had so much fun in the process.
