Active Week
Active Week took place at Scoil Chormaic CNS from Monday 17th – 21st June 2019. Each class participated in various activities throughout the week including: Sports Days, Wake and Shake, Tennis, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, Yoga, Bouncy castles, Obstacle courses, to name a few. Active week concluded with a sports assembly for all our Active Week participants on Friday 21st June.
As per previous years, classes from 1st to 6th class walked with their teachers to O’Dwyer’s GAA club for their sports day (running, potato and spoon, 3-legged, wheelbarrow, etc.) and activity stations. This year, Junior and Senior infants had their sports day on the grass pitch in Bremore Educate Together Secondary School (The school next door to us). Parents were invited to watch their child’s class races/activities and enter the parents/guardians race, if they wished! See the timetable below.
