After-school clubs Term 2

Dear Parents,

I wish to write to you in relation to After-School Activities in Scoil Chormaic CNS. All after-school activities will run for Term 2 and commence on the week beginning 16th January 2023 and will run for 10 weeks ending the week of 27th March 2023. The list of after-school clubs available this term can be accessed here:

We have drawn up a menu of paid after-school activities which are proposed for this term. These are shown on the link above.

Parents who wish to enrol their child/children in any of these activities can register in the hall with the teacher(s) who is providing the after school activity on the following date and time:

Thursday 12th January @ 2:45pm

Please bring exact payment to the hall for registration. Full payment is required at registration.

If you are unable to attend registration, you can send the money to school with your child. Please send it in a sealed envelope and include your child’s name, the name of the club and teacher, if they have permission to walk home and your contact details in case of emergency. To guarantee a place for your child please send this money in by Friday 13th January 2023.

Arrangements for pupils attending paid after-school activities:

At the end of the school day, pupils will leave their classroom as normal with their class teacher. They will make their own way to the school hall (which will be supervised by a member of staff) to wait for collection by the provider of the after-school activity. The school’s Board of Management (BOM) wishes to remind parents that the Management of the school does not bear any responsibility for this process, and the responsibility lies with parents to ensure that their child is either brought to the hall or has parental consent to make their own way. This is a condition of signing-up for after-school activities. Parents are also advised to read the policy of the After School Club (ASC) and are in agreement with this as a condition of signing up for ASC. Children should be collected from the main entrance. Please ensure your child is collected at 3.45pm sharp.
