Internet Safety presentation for parents

Dear parents,

Next Wednesday, May 11th, the school will give a presentation on Internet Safety for Parents. The presentation will be given twice, once at 11am and once at 7pm, and will be held online on Microsoft Teams (more information about Microsoft Teams below).

At this presentation, we will talk to you about some common concerns parents have around internet safety. This one-hour talk will look at topics such as screen time, cyber-bullying and social media. The aim of the talk is to give you an introduction to the topic, give you some tips for talking to your child, find out what supports are available and how to access them.

Social media usage by primary pupils and the corresponding problems with cyber-bullying are becoming more prevalent each year, so we would encourage you to attend one of the sessions.

The link to the Microsoft Teams meeting will be sent in due course, via Dojo and Aladdin Connect. When you get it, click on the meeting invite to access the meeting.
