Mrs Kavanagh’s 6th class visited Balbriggans new Nursing Home Moorehall Lodge. The class sang their Irish songs and read out their local history projects to the residents. We chatted about old times and discussed changes in school and our town from when they were young to now. We made a poster to say thank you for inviting us down. We also got lucky bags from the lovely staff of Moorehall Lodge, which went down a treat!

It was a really meaningful for everybody involved. It was a great way for Balbriggans older generations to meet with our town’s younger generation. Our Community National School (CNS) is really enjoying establishing meaningful connections in our community.
